Every April 28, the National Day of Mourning honours the memory of workers who have been killed, injured, or suffered illness as a result of their work.
This year, the BC Federation of Labour, along with the Workers' Compensation Board, the Business Council of BC and the Vancouver and District Labour Council will co-host a Day of Mourning ceremony at Jack Poole Plaza in Vancouver.
