Golden Tree Farmworkers' Memorial Ceremony
Please join the BCFED, the Bal, Punia and Sidhu families, Archway Community Services, PICS and the City of Abbotsford on March 8 at 12:30 pm for our annual memorial to remember Amarjit Kaur Bal, Sukhvinder Kaur Punia, and Sarabjit Kaur Sidhu. These three women farmworkers were killed on the morning of March 7, 2007, while being transported to work in an overloaded and poorly maintained passenger van.
