卑詩勞工聯盟啟動十天有薪病假的網上宣傳活動

(未割讓的領土斯闊米甚,原名:茨萊爾沃圖斯,瑪斯昆族地區 — 不列顛哥倫比亞省溫哥華) 卑詩勞工聯盟今天開始網上宣傳活動以推動省府盡快實施每年最低十天有薪病假,有關永久計劃的詳情細節將於今年秋天時候公佈。 卑詩勞工聯盟(BCFED)主席克朗克(Laird Cronk)指出:「十天的有薪病假制度是必須要實行的,此能讓患病僱員不需要在經濟壓力和身體健康上作出取捨。」這是經濟合作與發展組織(OECD)的基本標準,亦是卑詩省人民迫切的渴求。在我們的民意調查中發現,每十個人當中就有八人支持每年至少十天有薪病假,而他們也是來自於不同的年齡層、性別、地區甚至黨派。 此活動附帶一封公開信,內容主要呼籲勞工處處長、主要內閣處長和當地立法會議會推行最低十天的有薪病假。公開信提供多種語言,包括英語、旁遮普、語繁體中文、簡體中文、他加祿語,詳情請瀏覽以下網站: futureforall.ca/10_days。
