Day of Mourning 2025

Day of Mourning In 2021, Genevieve Cragg received the devastating news that her son, Charley Cragg, had drowned in a tragic workplace incident at the age of 25. Last year, 146 B.C. workers died from a workplace injury or disease. When you lose a loved one, the pain never goes away. We all have responsibilities to ensure workers and workplaces are healthy and safe. Monday, April 28 - dayofmourning.bc.ca

Every April 28, the National Day of Mourning honours the memory of workers who have been killed, injured, or suffered illness as a result of their work.
