Day of Mourning Commemoration

April 28 is the National Day of Mourning, when we remember the workers who have been killed, injured or made ill by their work. This year, we aren't able to gather in person because of the ongoing pandemic — but we can still be together in grief and solidarity.

How you can join in observing the Day of Mourning

Please join us on Wednesday, April 28 for a virtual Day of Mourning commemoration at DayOfMourning.bc.ca. The event begins at 10:30 am, and will include a commemorative video and a minute of silence to honour the memories of those lost on the job.
